ABOUT THE PROJECT

Social and Vocational Training Center Services

Mission and Goals of the Center

The Social and Vocational Training Center "Perspectiva 21.3" is a unique facility in Ukraine for young people with Down syndrome, autism, and intellectual disabilities. We provide comprehensive support, from education to vocational training and social integration. Our work is focused on equipping youth with intellectual disabilities with the skills necessary for independent living and successful integration into society.

Main Areas of Work:

Educational Programs

We offer personalized educational programs that cover life and social skills, household management, cooking, Christian ethics, IT, physical development, and art therapy.

Vocational Training

Students gain hands-on experience in real work environments at our inclusive enterprises, "Cafe 21.3" and "Dutch Bakery 21.3." This is a vital step in their social integration and professional growth.

Social Projects

The center organizes cultural and social activities, including excursions, team projects, and participation in community events, fostering communication skills and interaction with society.

Educational Materials (Guides)

Our guides compile 12 years of experience in compensatory education for children with intellectual disabilities and are approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. They include textbooks, methodological materials, workbooks, and pictograms, helping students master Ukrainian, mathematics, and other subjects.

Online Courses

Since 2012, we have shared our expertise with over 11,000 specialists. We’ve developed free online courses covering topics such as compensatory education, teacher-assistant collaboration, the TAN-Soderberg method, and teaching mathematics to children with intellectual disabilities.

Why Your Support Matters

Our mission is to enable young people with intellectual disabilities to live independently and with dignity, fully integrated into society. We cover all expenses for our students, including education, meals, and activities, ensuring accessibility. Your contribution is an investment in their future, providing them with the skills for independent living and fostering the development of an inclusive Ukraine.
