Reconstruction Project for a Social and Vocational Training Center

We are implementing a project for the complete reconstruction of a building adjacent to the existing "Perspectiva 21.3" center. Upon completion, this space will be transformed into a modern social and vocational training center, which will also provide supported living for young people with intellectual disabilities.

This will be not only a learning facility, but a home where they can live while receiving the necessary support to develop their social and professional skills.

Why Is This Important?

The number of people with intellectual disabilities in Ukraine is growing each year, and many of them require social and vocational training and supported living. Unfortunately, the current infrastructure is unable to provide adequate support, leaving many individuals socially isolated with limited opportunities for employment and independent living. Our center will become a hub where young people can not only gain professional skills but also live in an environment that promotes their development and independence.

What Does the Project Include?

• Complete renovation of a 1500 m² building.
• Accommodation and education for 60 students with intellectual disabilities.
• 10 supported living apartments equipped for full independence of the residents.
• 2 workshops for vocational training, where students can develop professional skills.
• 4 classrooms for educational programs and training.
• 100 young people with disabilities will be able to attend free masterclasses and educational events.
• Fully inclusive space, equipped with an elevator and other accessibility features for individuals with physical disabilities.

Expected Results

• Creation of an environment where people with intellectual disabilities can not only study but also live, receiving full support.
• Improved social adaptation and independence of students, allowing them to integrate into society and find their place in the workforce.
• Reduced social isolation and providing opportunities for personal development, which will enhance the quality of life for both the students and their families.
